Question by null.routed1: Why do most women divorce men?
2/3 of all divorces are by women isnt this an outrage shouldnt we shun these single mothers so they stop leaving their men.

Thats a ridiculous statement! Each situation is different. So you condone a woman to stay with a man who cheats or abuses her?

No I don’t think they need to be shunned provided they divorced their husbands for good solid reasons…(abuse, cheating, drugs, etc.)
But more and more women (and men) are wanting to divorce over stupid reasons that can be fixed. Most see divorce as an easy way out. People apparently like the easy way instead of the right way.

Society has changed over the years. There is no more keeping of the vows.
There are IMO good reasons for divorce, but most could be advoided if both parties were interested in working through things instead of just quitting.
Vows should be important to couples when they get married. Unfortunately, some dont take their vows seriously when they do get married.

i divorced mine because of a series of extra marital affairs.Not only that,he was very violent-for a very long time and was very irresponsible for his children.single mum yes i am-shunning me wouldnt have made me stick with him.i hope i answered you.

Most women divorce men, because while the women cook and clean and slave away, the men watch sports and think the ladies can do all the work. The men ignore the women and do whatever they please. Then later on the women grow tiresome and angry. That’s why it’s mostly the ladies. But later on the men won’t care anymore and the lady will wish she had him back because they had a baby with this men who doesn’t care about the child but does care about the sex.

That’s totally ridiculous! Why do some some men cheat on their wives? Or abuse their wives? Or use their wives? Or don’t commit? There are so many reasons women divorce men and men do file for divorce as well you know! You can’t make statements like that…….jeez man!

American women have a low threshold for boredom. When their husbands quit being ConfidentExcitingDangerman, many of them decide to cash out.

Because society has made it to easy for women to get divorce. They usually get the kids, unless the husband can prove her unfit. If they get the kids, than they get child support. If shes a ‘poor single mother’ than she can get all kinds of state welfare. I work during my wife and me’s marriage, while she didn’t even work half the time. Now shes living it up, and I can’t even afford my apartment.
